Mitsias M, Mamalis A, Cronopoulos B, Silvesrtos S. Guided bone regeneration procedure with the use of an absorbable collagen membrane and simultaneous placement of endosseous implants. Contemp Dent 2005; 25:183-191.

A successful guided bone regeneration procedure for future implant site requires the achievement of a series of biological actions which depend on the preservation of the osteoblastic cells derived from the lesion site. Also it depends on the volume of the defect space to be accomplished. This case report presents a guided bone regeneration procedure that occurred simultaneously to the placement of two osseointegrated implants by using a new absorbable collagen "Ossix" and Demineralized Freeze Dried Allograft  (DFDBA).
